Before the madness of the past few days I was making a bit of progress with the village. The wall of the pond is now done and the flock added to this board. Next job is to finsh the pond and them onto the cliffs. :-D

This really is great fun. :D

Your display is coming along nicely Rachel. I like the idea of the wall around the pond & it looks very good. How are you going to do the water? Just paint or with the stuff model railway fans use (sort of clear liquid which hardens)?

Thanks guys :-D

The walls are my favourite so far but I am looking forward to doing the pond. :D

Hi Tojo, well I will be painting it first and then I do intend to try the resin for a water effect. I have done a test pond on a much smaller scale and was really pleased with the effect I got. What do you think? It is actually the games workshop water effect I am using.

After a few hours of filling and painting the pond is almost finished, just needs the water effect resin added but this can't be done until the other water features are painted. :-D

I am starting to get excited now as I can see it taking shape. :hyper:
