A case/box to collect smurfs

Hi,

I recently bought some smurfs second hand on the internet in Belgium.
A nice surprise when I opened the package was this case/box where my smurfs laid in.
It's in plastic and marked : Smurfs copyright 1983 Peyo, all rights res. lic. by Kortekaas Merchandising BV

I mostly collect smurf figurines, not the other stuff.
Though I'm already stuck on this item :-D

I wondered if anyone has ever seen it before?
I was 13 years old when this came out but don't remember ever seen it in stores.

For now I want to hold it but you never know in the future if I would ever get tired of it knowing what it's worth could be interesting.

You're welcome Cassie :)
For now it is surely a lovely piece to own as it is in some way the "cradle" of some of my smurfs (the ones that came with it). :)
I'm so excited ; tomorrow we go to the Blue Paradise Smurf Fair here in Belgium.
It's my first smurf fair ever, I wonder what it will be like :joy:

It surely was a lovely gesture from that lady.
We had a nice time at the smurf fair (I'll write about it in a new topic), aren't there any smurf fairs in Melbourne Smurf Collector?

Sadly in Melbourne and most likely the rest of Australia there are no surf fairs. Some people are quite surprised that they still make smurfs other than the ones reintroduced after the more recent movies.

For example there are only few second hand shops that sell smurfs, and Andrew who runs the Toydreamer website has a stall in both of these second hand shops.

Maybe one day Melbourne will host a surf fair, if so you are all in welcome in advance.
